Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use artefacttextile.com or place an order or quote request with Artefact Textiles ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them, along with our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.
1. How ordering works
Submitting an order or quote request is a request, not a finished sale. We confirm the blanks are in stock and send you a mockup. Production starts only after you approve the mockup and your order is paid. If you pay online before seeing your mockup, you can still cancel for a full refund until you approve it.
2. Prices, taxes and fees
Prices are in U.S. dollars and shown on the site before you order. Add-ons such as 2XL and larger sizes, bigger logos, back prints, and same-day service show their cost before you add them to your cart. Sales tax is added as required by California law. Delivery or shipping is quoted separately and only charged if you approve it. There are no other fees.
A quote code locks in the price we sent you for the items and quantity in that quote. If we make an obvious pricing mistake, we'll tell you before charging and you can cancel at no cost.
3. Availability
Our blanks come from outside suppliers, and colors and sizes can sell out without notice. If something you picked isn't available, we'll offer alternatives. If none work for you, we'll refund that part of your order.
4. Your artwork
You keep ownership of the logos and designs you send us. By uploading them, you:
- confirm that you own them or have permission to have them printed, and that printing them won't infringe anyone's trademark, copyright, or other rights;
- give us permission to copy and edit them only as needed to make your order and mockups; and
- agree to cover claims, costs, and damages (including reasonable attorney fees) that come from artwork you supplied.
We may decline any order we believe infringes someone's rights or contains unlawful, hateful, or harassing content. We won't show your design in our own marketing without your permission.
5. Print results
Screens show color differently, so printed colors may vary slightly from what you see on your device or in a mockup. Placement can vary slightly from piece to piece. Low-resolution files may print less sharp; we'll let you know if we think yours will. Follow the care instructions we give you to keep prints looking their best.
6. Same-day orders
Same day applies to styles marked ⚡, 1–6 pieces, with your logo received by 11 AM Monday through Friday. Orders after the cutoff are ready the next business day. If we miss a same-day order we accepted, we refund the same-day fee.
7. Pickup and delivery
We text you when your order is ready for pickup in Costa Mesa. Please pick up within 60 days. After that, we'll try to reach you, and unclaimed orders may be donated or recycled without a refund. For delivery or shipping, we'll help you with any carrier claim if a package is lost or damaged.

9. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any order is limited to what you paid for that order, and we aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or missed events. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that can't be waived.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by California law. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts in Orange County, California, or in small claims court where it qualifies. We'd always rather sort it out directly first, so please contact us.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you placed your order applies to that order.
